Good News About Art Students

Good News
All of the Art Foundations 1&2 students have portfolios that are organized and have some work displayed. We have all made art trading cards and as a group project we are making very handsome posters with a section from their 4 part card series. These art posters from the Art Department will be on display in the AT wing of the school near room AT 110.

A WORD ABOUT PORTFOLIOS

Portfolios are an excellent tool for students and teachers to see the progress a student is making. In art, because all work is presented in chronological order both the student ,teacher and family can see the improvement in the art work as it layers up in the porrtfolio. Students are responsible for maintaining and presenting portfolios and this helps them with learning both communication and organization skills. Students bring their portfolios home at the end of the semester.
