WELCOME TO THE THIRD QUARTER
It is third quarter already. Students in my classes have studied the rules and procedures and vocabulary. All students will have a functioning portfolio by the end of next week.
Foundations of Art1 will be working the whole semester on the Elements of Art. They will be using a variety of supplies to do art projects to show mastery of the concepts presented with the elements.
Art 2 will be working on shadow boxes, tesselations printmaking and sculpture.
We will be participating in the district Art Show again this year.
I would appreciate my first semester students contacting me about showing their artwork from our fall school art show in the district art show to be held in April. If you had work up this year in the library I need some of it back.
I look forward to meeting my homeroom parents for a second round of student led conferences and hope that you will enjoy your students, presentations.
